What is amazing about this job?

As an Office Manager, you are the first point of contact, creating a welcoming experience for our guests and colleagues, and offering them the hospitality expected from high-end hotels. You are responsible for daily office management, supplier coordination, and event organization. You identify improvement opportunities and take initiative to optimize processes.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming of our colleagues and visitors
  • Available to answer questions from guest and colleagues and transfer calls
  • Distributing post and incoming email
  • Ordering taxi’s, couriers, flowers, presents, office supplies and groceries
  • Managing the company E-bikes and its supplier
  • Point of contact for suppliers for cleaning, office and plant maintenance
  • Booking parking spaces and meeting rooms
  • Preparing meeting rooms and making sure the office is tidy at all times
  • Organizing Edge events and decorate the office at special occasions
  • First aid point of contact (BHV), assist when calamities occur

Competencies relevant for the role

  • A customer-oriented, service-minded approach with a drive to help others
  • Representative with an enthusiastic outgoing personality
  • Multi-tasker with excellent organizing and planning skills
  • Problem solver with a can-do attitude and an eye for detail

 

Skills / Level of Experience

  • MBO education preferably Hospitality / Hotel school / Tourism
  • > 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the hotel / hospitality industry
  • Experience with supplier management and facility processes
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
